Terms of Use
OCTOBER, 2025
VERSION 1.0
INTRODUCTION
These Terms of Use ("Terms", "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the Child Earn mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By registering an account or participating in the Child Earn Skill Development Programme ("Programme"), you ("you", "parent", "guardian", or "user") agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Childearn Hobbies Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 and having its registered office at 2nd Floor, Advant Towers, Road No 07, Kakateeya Hills, Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana - 500084.
PURPOSE AND NATURE OF THE PROGRAM
The Programme is a structured, community-based, parental initiative aimed at enhancing children's life and creative skills through guided activities within validated gated communities.
Each participating child (aged between 5 and 12 years) visits another parent's residence within the same gated community to engage in an age-appropriate, supervised task such as gardening, craftwork, painting, cooking basics, or home organisation.
The Programme is designed to:
- Foster creativity, discipline, and cooperation among children.
- Provide exposure to diverse household and creative tasks under supervision.
- Promote early awareness of value for effort and financial literacy through a token participation reward.
Participation is voluntary and educational in nature. It does not constitute employment, apprenticeship, or any commercial work relationship.
ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION
Parent or Guardian Registration: Only parents or lawful guardians residing within a gated community are eligible to register. You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under Indian law.
Community Validation: A gated community shall be deemed "validated" only when:
- at least three parents from that community register on the Platform;
- each such parent confirms residency through OTP and address verification; and
- the community is approved by Child Earn through its internal validation process
Child Eligibility: Only children between 5 and 12 years of age are eligible to participate. Parents must submit the child's basic details (name, date of birth, gender) during registration.
Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate and current information at the time of registration and keep it updated. The Company shall not be responsible for consequences arising from false or incomplete information.
PARENTAL CONSENT AND RESPONSIBILITIES
By enrolling your child, you acknowledge and confirm that you have voluntarily consented to your child's participation in all activities conducted within your validated gated community.
You agree that:
- You will personally supervise, or ensure supervision by a responsible adult of the same gender as the participating child, during every activity slot.
- You will brief the child on safety, etiquette, and cooperation before sending them for an activity.
- You will guide the child on how to reach to Hosting parent house within the community and if needed, drop and pick up the child within the community premises and ensure punctuality.
- You understand that minor accidents, scrapes, or unintentional property damage may occur despite precautions.
- You assume full responsibility for your child's conduct, health, and safety during participation.
HOSTING PARENT OBLIGATION
- The hosting parent must remain present throughout the activity session, clearly demonstrate the intended activity, and maintain a safe and respectful environment.
- Activities must be simple, age-appropriate, and free from physical or emotional risk.
- The host shall record attendance and brief feedback on the Platform at the end of each session.
- The host shall not assign any work that could reasonably be considered hazardous, demeaning, or commercial in nature.
SAFETY AND SUPERVISION STANDARDS
- All activities must be conducted within the physical boundaries of the gated community, using its existing safety infrastructure such as security staff, access control, and CCTV coverage.
- The Company strongly discourages any arrangement requiring a child to leave community premises or travel on public roads.
- A same-gender supervision rule applies: boys shall be supervised by a male parent/guardian, and girls by a female parent/guardian during the session.
- Any accidents or incidents must be immediately reported to the concerned parents and logged through the Platform.
- The Company may, at its discretion, temporarily suspend a community or account if safety or supervision standards are violated.
FINANCIAL TERMS
Each child may receive a token appreciation amount of Rs. 250 per week for participation in the Programme.
Such reward is not salary, wages, or compensation for labour, but a symbolic incentive to promote responsibility and financial awareness.
Child Earn does not facilitate, collect, hold, or transfer money between parents or participants. All payments, if any, occur privately between parents to the Child or through community arrangements outside the Platform.
NON-EMPLOYMENT DECLARATION
The Programme is strictly educational and recreational. It is not an employment, apprenticeship, or commercial relationship within the meaning of the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986, or any related labour laws.
The tasks assigned are of a household or creative nature under adult supervision and are not designed for profit or service delivery.
Parents expressly acknowledge and agree that participation shall not be construed as child labour or engagement in any prohibited occupation.
PLATFORM ACCESS AND ACCEPTABLE USE
The Platform is provided for lawful use only. You agree not to:

FORCE MAJEURE
The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet outages, labour disputes, government actions, or pandemics.

We may, from time to time, amend or update these Terms of Use to reflect changes in law, service features, or operational requirements.
